Halo Metrics Inc. has teamed up with Checkview, and i3 International Inc to host an educational seminar for Loss Prevention and operations professionals.  This seminar will be about the latest technologies and trends in the retail industry. It will be educational, and focusing on technology that aids loss prevention. It will also be an opportunity to network with other industry professionals. 
Four dynamic speakers are scheduled. They are: 
• Stephen O’Keefe, Vice President of Operations, Retail Council of Canada will speak about risk assessment and the tools required to design and implement an efficient, targeted plan. 
• Rui Rodrigues, National Director, Loss Prevention Staples Canada will discuss the past, present, and future of loss prevention. He will speak to challenges and solutions in LP. 
• Paul Paglia, Vice President of Loss Prevention & Retail Operations, Donna Karan International. Will speak about how video and analytics can be leveraged into a companywide tool and resource. 
• Tony Hunt, General Manager of Loss Prevention, London Drugs Limited. Tony will be talking about ORC – Organized Retail Crime. Summarizing the problem and discuss how today's security professionals, and their solution providers and partners, can work together to fight this ever growing phenomenon.
It will be held on Wednesday, November 6th at the River Rock Casino in Vancouver, B.C from 9am to 3:30pm. It is free of charge, with breakfast, snacks and lunch provided.
