Halo Debuts Infrared (IR) Alarming Display Fixtures

2006-03-02

Richmond, BC, March 2, 2006: Halo Metrics Inc. has announced the new Infrared (IR) alarming pod family, self-contained alarming display fixtures that feature IR programming, and perfect placement functionality, which returns merchandise to the proper position every time.

Fixtures have contemporary-styled aluminum pedestals that come in different heights, and can be attached to various surfaces. The Alarming Display Fixtures are self-powered and portable, with no additional components; and one key is programmed to operate all alarms in a store.
With the IR Programming Station and Key Fob, a security code is specific to each store location. The system is tamper-proof, and Halo says it can not be compromised by learning remotes. If activated, the alarm is isolated to just the unit that was tampered with rather than the entire system. The IR Key Fob is programmed to time-out after 96 hours, but can be refreshed easily.
